Scanahand - create your own personalized handwriting font
A lot of people use the computer for writing. That's because it's much easier and much more convenient than writing on a regular notebook or piece of paper. The problem is that certain users may want to use their own hand writing when creating documents using the computer. Normally, this is not possible and the user can only use a font which simulates handwriting. This solution is not the best possible, as these types of fonts don't fully emulate handwriting.
Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem and that's Scanahand. This Windows program allows you to use your own handwriting when creating documents using the computer. The functionality of this application is simple.
First, the user will need to print a template page using the application, in which he will need to write each letter in a separate box, using his own handwriting. After that, the completed template page should be scanned back into the application. At this point, Scanahand will recognize each added letter and will make up a personalized font which can then be used in any desired text editor without problems.
Scanahand includes several types of templates, according to the type of document the user would like to create. As such, one can use templates for signatures, symbols and so on.
